Meet & Greet Picnic

This year's chapter BBQ was a little different from past years; with all three Utah STAR chapters getting together and inviting other STAR chapters from the surrounding states. We were joined by the folks from Colorado Chapters 182 & 183. It was quite the ride for them to get here and it was a real pleasure to have them join us.

Our day started at the park with a group of riders leaving for Miller Motorsports Park, while others stayed behind to set up and get things ready. (Most likely there was more story-telling and planning of future adventures than there was actual work).

Upon the return of the riders from the Miller Sports Park everyone enjoyed some yummy food and treats (as usual). We then followed up with the prize drawings. (There were some pretty cool prizes)!

Of course our picnic wouldn't be complete without the "STAR Olympics". Thanks to the Mcphee's for organizing the events.

A special thanks to:
   - The Colorado Chapters 182 & 183 for attending. I hope we can get out there to ride with you guys someday soon.
   - Miller Motorsports Park for opening up their gates and letting us ride on the race track…and especially to Travis for taking some of the riders on a 130+ mph ride on the track. I am sure that is something they will never forget.
   - And last, but not least to Dennis for the vision and persistence in opening our picnic to others.

All in all, the picnic was a big success. There are so many people to thank for their efforts in pulling off this year's picnic. All we can say to you is "Thanks", it's people like you that make Star Touring and our Utah chapters so great to be a part of.

Food, fun and the best group of people you could ever meet, what more can a person ask for?
