Benefit Ride for Kevin

The Provo Star Chapter 431 invited all of the Utah Star chapters to a benefit ride for a child who needs heart surgery. Kevin was born with many problems with his heart. His mom and dad have accrued large medical bills and there are still more surgeries to come in the future.
We started out by getting together at Escape Yamaha (Chapter 431 sponsor) to meet Kevin and his family. Meeting Kevin you just fall in love with him, and your heart just hurts for what he has been through and for what lies ahead for him.
Leaving Escape Yamaha, with Kevin and his family in the lead, 29 bikes traveled around Utah Lake and up Spanish Fork Canyon. We ended up at Sheep Creek for a BBQ and prizes. What a beautiful ride and what a great group of people that sponsored this event. Chapter 431 also had people from other states giving money towards Kevin's medical bills and at last count Escape Yamaha and Chapter 431 raised over $1,550.00 to help out.
