Chapter 152 Sept. 15 2007 |
Fall rides are a particularly special here. From deserts to mountains the colors really shine. Our ride started out a Full Throttle (Chapt. 152 sponsor) with our president Marshall reviewing past and future activities. Chapter 152 would like to thank some new friends riding with us today, they are Rob & Karen Hackworth, Greg Still and Leon Valdez; thanks for riding with us today. With 27 bikes it was time for us to get going.
Leaving Full Throttle North to Trapper Loop, over the loop, seeing all the fall colors to Huntsville and to the monastery for a break and some shopping. After spending a delightful time at the monastery we headed on to Snow Basin ski resort. If you like a lot of tight turns and scenic beauty then the Snow Basin Road is for you. A thought, our bikes can be broken, frames bent, chrome scratched and tanks dented. All parts of our bikes can be replaced. The riders and spirit is very fragile and can take along time to repair. Thank God that it was only some minor aches and pains we experienced on Saturday. Now is time to heal.
