With the riding season underway members from 152 & 278 got together for an advanced motorcycle safety course. Knowing the abilities of your bike and having the confidence in yourself can only add up to safe and pleasant rides. We had Justin meet about 15 riders from chapter 152 & 278 at the Davis courthouse parking lot. He spoke to us about safety equipment and bike maintenance. Looking 12 to 15 seconds ahead of your self while you are riding. Sometimes using the brakes is not the best action. Justin took our group through the gauntlet from follow the leader on sidewalks through gutters, grass to dirt and back to concrete this guy could find the most amazing areas to drive your bike on. A race - a slow race - to show us balance with our bikes. After you thought he has found about everything to drive over, Justin "with a grin" coned off an area for the circle of death. One bike then Two and yes even Three bikes at one time in a 20ft. circle. Knowing your bike and your abilities is always a good thing and thanks to Justin for his time, and the Star group for the entertainment.
