With our summer well underway and the temp's on the rise!! What better way to beat the heat than to go to Bear Lake, where the air is cool and clear. We started our morning event at Full Throttle Powersports, Chapter 152 sponsor for out chapter meeting. We recapped last months ride and introduced some new riders that came out to ride with us, they are: Chad & Charese Johanson, Donny & Molly Newman, Mark & Bonnie Stone, Mont Hall, Dale Carstenson, Skyler Clark and Grand & Cindy Zobell. Leaving Full Throttle with 35 bikes and 50 riders we embarked on our adventure winding through Weber Canyon, up over Trappers Loop passing Huntsville on our way up Monte Cristo Pass, over the pass to Woodruff and Randolph, again through more canyons to Bear Lake and Garden City. Wow all that before lunch. Having lunch in Garden City is a special treat with the Pine covered mountains on one side of town and the clear blue water of Bear Lake on the other, and of course the best raspberry shakes in the world. After spending some time relaxing in the shade it was time to head back to the city but first we needed to ride through some other beautiful canyons, Logan and Sardine Canyon. We logged over 220 miles through some of the most beautiful canyons, mountain passes that Utah has to offer.
