Can you say brrr...

They say, 'April showers bring May flowers' and we were afraid we would get our share of those showers on this ride. Well, we didn't get too many showers as we beautiful ride over Johnson's Pass. What we did get was cooold.

We had a great meeting during which Marshall presented a certificate to Matt and Bart for their support during the Angel Ride. Also announced - our logo is official - it has been approved by Star and we are getting ready to order up some t-shirts. Karen presented the group with the new mascot for the year. We all loaded up on doughnuts and beverages and we were ready to ride.

After a stop at the Lake Shore Flying J, we rode through Tooele - man is that town growing. Riding past Stockton, we made a right on 199 through Rush Valley and over Johnson's Pass. The curves on this road are always fun and there was hardly any traffic. We did have a scare when one of our own went off the road but a few scratches and bruises was the result and we were back on the road.

Down the mountain we rode and stopped at the church at the other side. Then, back up and over Johnson's again - even more fun the second time!

After stopping at Steadman's to hand out an Angel Ride Certificate, it was off to Virg's for lunch. As always, the service was great and the food, good and hot. Marshall called the ride after lunch.

Rain, wind, cold - nothing stops the Star Chapter 152 from having a good time. Well, warmer weather might make it a little more fun!
