The CMA Run for the Son was a dry event this year..no, I don't mean that way although that was also true..I mean that it didn't rain. It was a beautiful day to go riding and some members of Chapter 152 met at Marshall's house to ride to Carey's Cycle in Ogden. There we met up with Chapter 279 and enjoyed seeing some familiar faces we hadn't seen in a while as well as meeting some new ones.

After Fred Betz (President of 279) held the meeting, both chapters rode together to the park to meet up with the CMA folks there. There were 54 bikes there for the CMA Run for the Son and after a little meeting, greeting, and ticket buying the whole group rode out towards Logan by way of some roads I'd never been on. It's nice to not worry about where to turn, etc. and just follow the folks in front of you.

It was a very good ride and we got back to the park in time for Sloppy Joe's and other goodies for lunch provided by the CMA. The Star members did fairly well during the raffle with Steve McPhee a two time winner.

After a blessing of the bikes, we all went our seperate ways home - just in time to catch a few sprinkles and clouds. At least it didn't rain during the event. A good time with good people - as always.
